About the Role
We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join Coupang Cloud Finance team in Mountain View. This role will lead the Cloud FinOps team and work with engineering leaders across multiple regions to deliver financial insights that drive cloud cost optimization and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead strategic financial analysis and planning on cloud projects, including ROI analysis, TCO analysis, and cloud service Buy vs. Build decisions
- →Partner with stakeholders to identify cost optimization opportunities and track cloud savings
- →Define and build Cloud usage operation metrics and guardrails
- →Review cloud capacity requests and provide cost optimization recommendations
- →Establish automation mechanisms for monitoring AWS Reserve Instance and Savings Plan
- →Drive company resource improvement with engineering teams
- →Perform benchmarking analysis using AWS cost data
- →Shape and champion company-wide cloud governance policy
Requirements
- ✓10+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis in a technology-oriented organization
- ✓Experience with SQL queries, Tableau, and organizing large datasets
- ✓Proficient in developing financial models and creating new financial processes
- ✓Excellent communication skills and ability to work with non-financial leaders
- ✓Strong MS-Office skills and experience with SAP
- ✓Extensive business partnership experience with executives
- ✓2+ years experience with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- ✓Preferred 2+ years people manager experience
