About the Role
We are looking for a Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing fintech scale-up, INFINIT. This role focuses on generating new business opportunities by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers. The position is ideal for someone looking to launch a career in Tech sales and progress toward an Account Executive role.
Key Responsibilities
- βProspect & Generate Leads: Research and identify potential customers using LinkedIn, CRM tools, and other resources.
- βOutbound Outreach: Engage prospects through cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- βQualify Leads: Understand prospect needs, pain points, and readiness to explore INFINITβs SaaS solution.
- βSchedule Meetings & Demos: Work closely with Account Executives to book qualified appointments and ensure smooth handoff.
- βSupport Account Executives: Assist with administrative tasks, preparation of documentation, and follow-up materials to help advance deals.
- βClose Deals When Possible: Manage and close smaller or shorter sales cycle opportunities directly over the phone when aligned with sales strategy.
- βMaintain CRM Accuracy: Log all outreach activity, conversations, and outcomes clearly and consistently.
- βStay Product-Informed: Maintain strong knowledge of our platform and industry trends to articulate value with confidence.
- βCollaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Marketing and Sales to refine outreach messaging, improve lead quality, and share insights.
- βContribute to Team Strategy: Participate in team meetings, offering insights from your pipeline and prospecting efforts.
Requirements
- β1+ years in telesales, sales, business development, or another customer-facing role (SaaS is a plus).
- βProven performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- βStrong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- βExceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident phone presence.
- βA goal-driven, competitive, and self-motivated attitude.
- βResilience and the ability to handle rejection while remaining proactive.
- βFamiliarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
- βExcellent time-management and workflow-planning abilities.
