About the Role
We are looking for a Key Account Business Development Representative to join our fast-growing fintech scale-up. This role focuses on identifying and engaging high-value prospects within strategic accounts to build pipelines for Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities
- βIdentify, engage, and qualify high-value prospects within strategic accounts
- βCollaborate with Account Executives to book strategic discovery calls and ensure smooth transitions
- βSupport Account Executives with documentation, proposal preparation, and key account research
- βHandle and close smaller or short-cycle deals within assigned strategic segments
- βMaintain detailed and accurate CRM records of outreach and interactions
- βProvide feedback to Marketing and Sales on messaging effectiveness and key account trends
- βDeepen product and industry knowledge to articulate our value proposition effectively
Requirements
- β2+ years in business development, telesales, sales, or customer-facing roles
- βExperience with larger accounts or SaaS is a strong plus
- βDemonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-activity environment
- βStrong organization and communication skills with a professional phone presence
- βAbility to build credibility with senior decision makers
- βSelf-motivated, target-oriented, and resilient in the face of rejection
- βFamiliarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools
- βExcellent time management and prioritization skills
