About the Role
The Financial Analyst at Inovalon is responsible for producing financial and operational models to support management decision making. This role involves partnering with business leaders to provide insights and contribute to monthly processes.
Key Responsibilities
- βContribute to monthly processes including long range planning, monthly budget and forecasting
- βProvide FP&A support and financial analysis across functional organizations
- βAssist in developing forecasting models for various departments
- βPrepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual variance reporting
- βDocument and build simulations and perform analyses
- βRun simulations on various 'what-if' scenarios
- βArticulate findings on a regular basis to management
- βProvide FP&A ad hoc analyses as needed
- βMaintain compliance with Inovalon's policies and procedures
- βAdhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
Requirements
- βMinimum of 2 years of experience in analytic/data analysis
- βPublic accounting experience preferred
- βTrack record of supporting large departments (400+ employees)
- βAbility to partner with internal customers effectively
- βAdvanced Excel skills required
- βStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
- βAbility to create models with 'what if' capabilities
- βUnderstanding of US GAAP, quarterly earnings process and public company audit
- βMust be detail oriented and self-motivated
- βBachelorβs Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
