Key Responsibilities
- βMap lending journeys to identify customer pain points, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvements
- βPlan and facilitate workshops with cross-functional teams to gather and align objectives and analyze business requirements
- βDocument these requirements into clear, comprehensive product specifications and user stories ready for development
- βCollaborate with stakeholders to ensure proposed solutions align with business needs and expectations
- βWork closely with team members to design, test, and implement solutions that meet defined business objectives
- βPromote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for enhancement and embedding best practices
- βRead and follow all relevant company policies and procedures
- βAdhere to all risk-related responsibilities applicable to your role
- βAbide by all compliance and financial crime related policies, procedures, and reporting obligations applicable to your role
Requirements
- βExperience as a business analyst in banking, fintech, and lending preferred, but not essential
- βUnderstanding of business process modeling and requirements gathering techniques
- βExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- βDesire to work within agile cross-functional teams on change initiatives
- βKnowledge of the SME lending market, customer/broker needs, and end-to-end lending processes
- βExperience working within a regulated environment, ensuring compliance with Consumer Duty and other relevant regulations
