About the Role

Numida is seeking a Head of People & Culture to design and evolve the organization's structure, roles, and accountability systems to support ambitious growth across Africa. This strategic role will partner with the CEO and leadership team to build scalable people systems and culture.

Key Responsibilities

→Design and evolve Numida’s organizational structure to support growth and geographic scale
→Define roles, spans of control, and accountability across teams
→Lead workforce planning in partnership with Finance and functional leaders
→Translate Numida’s values into observable leadership behaviors
→Build and roll out a practical manager framework
→Design performance management systems that reinforce accountability
→Build clear career paths and progression frameworks
→Build simple, robust HR systems, policies, and processes that scale across countries
→Ensure compliance with labor laws across geographies
→Establish reliable people data and dashboards

Requirements

✓8+ years in leadership roles in scaling organizations
✓Demonstrated experience in organizational design, leadership development, and systems building
✓Comfortable operating at both strategic and execution levels
✓Strong business acumen connecting people decisions to financial outcomes
✓Experience applying AI to people systems and manager enablement
✓Deep understanding of East African labor contexts
✓Self-confidence, integrity, high energy, empathy, and sense of humor
